Traveloka How-to: Save Even More Money on Flights and Hotels with Coupons!

How to Coupons-blog

Show of hands, who wants to save money on your travels? Yes, we know you do. Everyone does. (If not, I guess you’re uber rich and money is peanuts to you.) In fact, every savvy traveller knows a few money-saving tips. Travel during low season. Don’t fly on the weekends. If you don’t have kids, avoid trips during school holidays! Use incognito mode when searching for airfares. Always wait for a sale. Eat like a local. Take overnight trains and buses.

When you want to travel more and travel deeply, finding the best bargains becomes a priority. Simply because every little bit you save means you’ll get to enjoy even more holidays in the future. Random fun fact: Did you know that Lonely Planet’s first book was “Across Asia on the Cheap”? That was in 1973. Even today, four decades later, the topic of travelling cheaply is still relevant to every one of us who experiences that yearning to go off to someplace different. That itch that doesn’t care how much money you have in the bank—it just needs to be scratched. Better known as wanderlust.

It's always good to save as much as we can on travels! We can then turn them over for shopping use! ;) (Credit: Shutterstock)

At Traveloka, we’re also travellers who are always seeking a great bargain. That’s why it’s so easy to find the cheapest flight and hotel deals with us. Plus, we’re about to tell you a nifty little trick on Traveloka that’ll let you enjoy even greater savings—COUPONS!

Not the coupons of yesteryear that you find in newspapers waiting to be cut out. We’re talking about the coupon codes you use to get discounts on online shopping sites. Those magical letters and numbers that make your wallet feel slightly better after a spree.

Yes, you can use coupon codes to enjoy discounts on Traveloka too! No, it’s not too good to be true. Just last month, we had a promotion that gave users 15% off just for applying a coupon code before they pay for their booking.
